There's no number that suits every account, but there is a sensible place to start. Pick a rhythm you can keep for a month, then let your own results move it.
- Instagram: three to five feed posts a week, with reels doing most of the reaching.
- TikTok: as often as you can make something worth watching. Daily if you can, three a week if you can't.
- Facebook: three to five a week. Fewer, better posts beat a daily trickle.
- LinkedIn: two to four a week, on weekdays.
- X: once or more a day. Posts there fade fast.
- Pinterest: a few pins a day, spread out, pays off over months rather than days.
Consistency beats volume
An account that posts three times every week grows steadier than one that posts twenty times in a burst and goes quiet. A queue with fixed times is the easiest way to keep that up.
Let your numbers decide
After a month, look at reach per post rather than total reach. If posting more is spreading the same attention across more posts, post less.
