Approvals

Say yes in one click

When someone sends a post for approval, it arrives with its caption, its first picture, where and when it’s going out, and three buttons.

  • Approve it, and it goes out as planned.
  • Request changes, type what needs doing, and the writer hears straight away, in the channel and in a direct message.
  • Once someone decides, the message says who and what, so nobody decides twice.
  • Edited since it was sent? The old message says so, and the new version arrives below it.
  • If a client signs off after your team, the message shows it’s with the client.

Set up in a minute

  1. Add Juper to Slack

    In Juper, an owner or admin opens Settings, then Integrations, and presses Add to Slack.

  2. Pick a channel

    Choose where Juper posts. For a private channel, invite @Juper to it first.

  3. Link yourself, once

    The first time you press Approve in Slack, Juper asks you to link your Slack to your Juper login. After that the buttons act as you.

Questions people ask

Can anyone in the channel approve a post?

No. Everyone in the channel can see the message, but the buttons only work for people who have linked their Slack to a Juper login that's allowed to approve that post. Anyone else pressing Approve is asked to link first, and their role still decides what they can do.

What can Juper see in our Slack?

Only what it needs to send messages: the list of channels, so you can pick one, and people's names, so a message can say who approved what. It can't read your conversations.

We run several businesses, or look after clients. Where do their messages go?

Each business in Juper connects to Slack on its own, so every client can have its own channel, and nothing from one ends up in another's.

How do we turn it off?

Disconnect it in Juper under Settings, Integrations, or remove the Juper app in Slack. Either way the messages stop straight away.
